Miss Michelle:
Preschool 2 Class
From a very young age I knew that my love of children would lead me into the field of childcare. In 1995, I graduated from Sheridan College with my ECE diploma. In 1996 I was married and shortly after expecting our first child which was when I decided to be a stay-at-home mom and begin my exciting journey of opening my home childcare centre. After a successful 27 year fulfilling career of home daycare, I knew it was time for a change and was luckily enough to join the Beaver Creek Family where I currently enjoy working in Pre-school Room 2.
Miss McKenna:
Toddler 2 Class
I am thrilled to introduce myself as one of your Toddler 2 classroom teachers!
I am 22 years old and will be enrolled in an Early Childhood Education college program with Georgian College as of September 2025!
I chose to set foot into the education field as I have an abundance of joy seeing your little ones smiling and growing each day, as well as helping them problem solve and navigate their new world. It is a true accomplishment for me when I can bring a smile back onto a child’s face after they have been frustrated, by helping them understand how they’re feeling and supporting them in learning to regulate and understand their feelings day to day! I also love the endless dance parties with my little friends during class!
Outside of work, I have taken part in representing a close community of Grand Valley as a fair ambassador and whenever I can, I try to compete at other local fairs, to step out of my comfort, and support community agriculture!
Throughout my continuing journey in education and my developing career. I will encourage and teach your little ones as they grow, to be brave and to keep pushing and persevering for anything they are passionate for! That is my passion and my goal as your little one’s teacher!
Miss Melody:
Toddler 2 Class
I am Melody! I am a mom to 3 beautiful children and have been an early childhood educator for 22 amazing years.
I chose this career as I loved the idea of being a part of children’s early adventures in learning.
Each day is filled with excitement, laughter, and those magical moments when a child discovers and learns something new.
My journey as an early childhood educator is all about making a positive impact. I want to inspire these little ones to embrace their curiosity and dream big, because I truly believe that every child deserves a fantastic start to their educational journey!
Miss Rupal:
Toddler 1 Class
My Name is Rupal, and I am an Educator in the Toddler room 1 class. My goal as a passionate educator is to ensure that children receive lots of support and care during their important early developmental years, while prioritizing inclusion and diversity. Creating an interactive learning environment where children can develop social skills, builds self-esteem, and become lifelong learners in my goal and an important component of childcare in the beginning impressionable years. Being part of their growth journey everyday makes this profession deeply fulfilling for me and brings me joy each day.
Miss Charlotte:

Hi, my name is Charlotte. I became an educator because I love working with children knowing that we are responsible for these unique and innocent minds that will eventually be shaping and creating our future. I love coming to work everyday to be amazed by these children and watch them acquire new skills each day. Their angelic personalities are the most enjoyable thing to discover, allowing this job to be so rewarding.
Miss Ravi
Preschool 1
My name is Ravikiran Kaur, and I graduated from the Early Childhood Education program at Northern College. With four years of experience in childcare, I have had the opportunity to work with children of all ages. My priorities are to build trust with the children, to help the children gain self-confidence and to make them independent and most importantly secure. I strongly believe in a play-based learning approach, where the Early Childhood Educator acts as a facilitator, allowing children to learn, grow, and explore within a safe and supportive environment. I am proud to be a part of Beaver Creek Daycare.
Miss Shawna
Working with children has been my passion since 2013, and I truly believe that every child is full of endless potential! I love creating a fun, nurturing space where little ones can express their creativity, be silly, explore the world around them, and grow into confident, curious learners. Watching children light up with excitement as they discover something new is the best part of what I do!
When I’m not at the childcare center, you’ll probably find me unwinding at a yoga class, sipping coffee at a cute café, or out on an adventure with my dog. I feel so lucky to do what I love every day and to help children learn, grow, and thrive!
